AS Monaco X Gambit Esports

Gambit Esports announced their partnership with a football club AS Monaco to sign their Fortnite and Dota 2 roster. They are now will play under the banner of AS Monaco Gambit tag. A partnership between football team and esports is not new in Dota 2 scene. We have seen one of the famous partnership such as Paris Saint German and LGD Gaming that became the first major European football team to invest in Dota 2 scene. Now, AS Monaco following the similar way to formed a partnership with the CIS organization Gambit Esports. 

Of course, this partnership comes with a rebranding of the esports division as well as prepares new adventures in the future. 

This means Gambit now have 2 rosters for their Dota 2 team. Although, the former roster will become Gambit-2 and the latest announced roster will become their main Dota 2 team that will compete under the new banner. Gambit (AS Monaco) is currently sitting in DPC 2021 Season 1 upper division in fourth place with a 2-2 record. Gambit-2 is in the lower division in third place with a 3-2 record.
