Gambit Esports announced their partnership with a football club AS Monaco to sign their Fortnite and Dota 2 roster. They are now will play under the banner of AS Monaco Gambit tag. A partnership between football team and esports is not new in Dota 2 scene. We have seen one of the famous partnership such as Paris Saint German and LGD Gaming that became the first major European football team to invest in Dota 2 scene. Now, AS Monaco following the similar way to formed a partnership with the CIS organization Gambit Esports.  Of course, this partnership comes with a rebranding of the esports division as well as prepares new adventures in the future.  This means Gambit now have 2 rosters for their Dota 2 team. Covid-19 took away the life of Brazilian Dota 2 player, Anderson "444" Santos.  Dota 2 Community were shocked by the news of a Brazilian support player that lost his battle against the corona virus.  444 was diagnosed with the virus last month and according to a Brazilian publication Globoesporte, Due to the lack of beds at the intensive care unit in 444 underwent treatment between home care and hospital care. This Saturday he was hospitalized at ICU with breathing difficulty and passed away. A source close to the player and South American scene told GosuGamers "The Brazilian community tried to help him by gathering money to buy oxygen and medicine, but unfortunately it wasn't enough." 444 joined and played for paiN Gaming in March 2019 and competed under the team for a year in events such as MDL Paris Major, EPICENTER Major 2019, and Dream League Season 13 among others. Singapore will be the first host of DPC Major in 2021. Rejoice Dota 2 fans! After almost 14 months of no Major tournaments and the cancellation of esports biggest event The International 10 due to the outbreak of corona virus across the world, Dota 2 Major tournaments is back in 2021. Last Friday ONE Esports announced the first Major of the Dota Pro Circuit 2021 will be held in Singapore. The ONE Esports Dota 2 Singapore Major Presented by PGL takes place on March 27, and will be the first-ever Major streamed in glorious 4K 60 fps! A total of 18 qualified teams will be attending the event but there is not confirmation yet regarding the enability of any on-site spectators to attend though the tournament will be broadcast in 4K resolution.
