Man City finish off Liverpool's title defence

Pep Guardiola's side won at the home of the Premier League champions for the first time since 2003 to take full control of this season's title race.

With a 4-1 victory on Merseyside,  Manchester City secured the 5 points at the top of the Premier league table.

Even without Sergio Aguero and Kevin De Bryune in the squad last night, City are still in top form as the young blood Phill Foden, who started at false-9 position before switched to the right flank scored the fourth goal for City.

Despite missing penalty at the first half, Ilkay Gundogan shows his revenge by smashing two goals at the second half.

Allison, who made the most glaring errors and let Raheem Sterling scores the third goal at Anfield last night becomes the ones that tilted the second half away from his team after they had equalized through Mohamed Salah’s penalty.

Jurgen Klopp’s side may have been badly out of form coming into this one, and the defeat here means they have now lost three straight home league games for the first time since 1963.

While Pep's side won at the Anfield for the first time after 18 years.
